On a picture, perfect Saturday morning, May 16th, 2026, the Bronxville, Scarsdale and Eastchester Rotary clubs participated in the Epic Day of Service. Our project was the Clean-up of the Bronx River park and Pollinator Garden. This is the fourth year that our club has participated in this wonderful Service Project. We participated under the guidance of Bob Del Torto, President of The Bronx River Parkway Reservation Conservancy (BRPRC) and some of his local volunteers.
25 members from our clubs, cut vines, cleared out weeds, plant new seeds and removed debris from various areas of the parkway in Tuckahoe, NY. It was a great way to take care of our environment. In addition to the volunteers for this event, our Bronxville Club fundraised $875 to donate to the BRPRC, that will go towards further assisting them to take care of the parkway.
